It’s Official – Prince William and Kate Middleton to visit Marlborough

A royal treat – why not use Tigers Den as your overnight base?

With the news that Prince William and Kate Middleton will be visiting Marlborough on April 10.The royal couple will fly into Blenheim from Wellington on April 10 and will be guests at a wreath laying ceremony attended by veterans from World War II and more recent conflicts.The Duke and Duchess will also visit the Omaka Aviation Heritage centre, where they will be escorted by Sir Peter Jackson around his display of World War 1 aircraft. They are scheduled to fly back to Wellington later in the afternoon.

Prince George will be in New Zealand with the royal couple, but it is unclear whether he will come to Blenheim with them.

The itinerary for the visit was announced by Kensington Palace officials early this morning.

The royals will spend nine days in New Zealand as part of a three week tour down-under next month.
