,Wither Hill winery is the third of our favorite wineries to visit while staying at Tigers Den Waikawa Bay Picton .
Situated on New Renwick road a few minutes drive from Blenhiem township . The winery is set on an elevated site which is quite expansive. The is a wonderful wine cellar under neath which can be viewed while on your winery tour. The aroma coming from the barrels down in the cellar is very pleasant and just makes you want to go up and taste some of the Wither Hills great wines.
There is a large tower were you can walk up and savor the wonderful views over looking the vineyards and surrounding areas of Blenhiem. This winery is one of the most popular spots for a wedding venue .
In the middle of the Wither Hills winery is a large lawn area were guests can laze about on the very comfortable bean bags and shade from large umbrellas. We had very young children with us and this was perfect for children.
The menu was expansive and we received good service from the friendly staff. We had a long lunch and sampled several bottles of Wither Hills wines . All of which were to our liking. Thankyou to Wither Hills for great day out.
