As guests at The luxury Tigers Den Lodge in Waikawa Bay, we will show you where you are able to fish for this beautiful New Zealand delicacy.-Scallops should be cooked quickly in a hot pan, otherwise they will stew and turn rubbery.
-The best way is to coat the scallops with oil or butter and add them to a nice hot pan.
-Cook them just until they develop a good golden colour, turn, and cook the other side.
-They should be in the pan (or on a barbecue hotplate) for not much more than 2-3 minutes in total.
